Over the years, wedding registries have evolved in so many ways. Nowadays, couples can easily create online lists instead of going from store to store. Plus, since many couples already live together, they often have most of the basics covered. That’s why modern registries are all about creativity and personalization. Here are some trending items to consider adding to your list: perfect for upgrading what you already have or introducing something new to your home.

We all have to eat, so why not do it off a beautiful new plate set? If you don’t already have a matching set, now’s the perfect time to add one to your registry. It’s especially nice to have when guests come over. And don’t stop at plates. Flatware extends to bowls, utensils, and serving pieces too, helping you create a cohesive look for every meal.

One of the first things going on my registry is a KitchenAid stand mixer. It’s a classic for a reason! Consider adding a set of appliances that match, just like you would with flatware. If a coordinated look isn’t your style, mix it up! Play with different shapes, colors, and finishes to create a kitchen that perfectly fits your aesthetic.

Love to host? Setting the table goes beyond just flatware. You’ll need linens too! Think table runners, tablecloths, and placemats. There are so many colors and patterns to choose from, so consider the holidays and occasions you love to host and pick pieces that suit those gatherings perfectly.

This is one I actually don’t recommend (well, sort of). I don’t suggest adding a cash fund directly to your registry since many sites charge a fee when you withdraw the money. Instead, keep it simple by adding a note like, “Unboxed gifts are appreciated as well.” It subtly lets guests know that cash or checks are welcome without sounding tacky. Plus, most guests already understand that monetary gifts are a common (and appreciated!) wedding gift.

The options here are endless! You’ll need everyday essentials like water glasses and mugs. But don’t forget your bar cart. Stock up on wine, margarita, martini, shot, and whiskey glasses, just to name a few.

Everyone loves the feeling of a luxury hotel bed. The crisp sheets, the fluffy duvet, and those pillows you can just sink into. The good news? You can bring that same comfort home! Check out your favorite brands like Pottery Barn for high-thread-count sheets that match your aesthetic. You can even shop directly from hotels like the Four Seasons to recreate their signature bedding experience in your own bedroom.

Picture frames are a perfectly thoughtful and practical registry gift. It’s important to include items at a variety of price points to fit every guest’s budget. And with all your beautiful new wedding photos, you’ll definitely want a stylish way to display them!

If you enjoy a good glass of wine or an evening nightcap, this is the perfect addition to your registry! What better way to start building a collection of high-end spirits? Bonus points if you include engraved bottles for a personalized touch.
